 Dear Jeanne,

 My name is Jacqueline Cardona.  My mom is a student in your Juvenile  Delinquency Class,  her name is Frances Cardona.  I was very happy to  be able to participate in one of her class assignments, especially  since it is such a special one.  

Below I have listed fourteen reasons why I love my mom:

1. She is very generous.
2. She is always jovial.
3. She loves to dance, like I do.
4. She makes me feel good even when I'm not feeling good.
5. She is very, very, supportive academically and is very educational
6. She loves to read and has encouraged me to do the same.
7. She is daring.
8. She is adventuraous and gives me the confidence to try different activities even if they seem impossible for me.
9. She is sweet.
10. She cares, not only for me but for others around her.  She always tries to help people even if she doesn't know them.  She gets pleasure from doing that.
11. She is lovable.
12. She is so, so, clean, she says that my cleaniness reflects on her.
13. She always makes me smile and brings happiness into my life.
14. Best of all, she is a dedicated single mother.  I used to feel    be    embarrassed and different about being a single parent family, but I overcame that because I realized that the things that my mom does for me don't even come close to what two parent families do.  I appreciate everything she does and thank God that he gave me a mother like her.
