No Bid Contracts in New Orleans Reconstruction

A Division of Halliburton, one of Bechtel, and others have already received no bid contracts for the reconstruction of New Orleans. New York Times article on Saurday. Remind me to download it for you

The importance of no bid contracts is that the administration can give them to whomever it wants, and there is no accountability. This is happening with Halliburton in Iraq. It happened with Bechtel and providing drinking water in South America. Notice also the speed with which this happened.
