- Communication form Bill Knaack on Prisoner death
"In the Journal Sentinel, on tuesday, an article was published on an inmates death. Michelle Greer a prisoner with asthma died on february 2nd. Greer was complaining all day long about her inhaler not working. A prison official told her that see was ordered back to her cell. This official, R. Rogers, said since Greer was talking and walking around that there was no need for immediate care. See went back to her cell and had an appointment schedule for 8:00 A.M. On her way to this appointment she was walking alone and died. One nurse was quoted on saying, "I told you not to ignore her this morning". Now my question is was this a case of prison neglect or simple prison error? If it was neglect what should happen to R. Rogers?
