Site on Marijuana for Public Order Crimes

NORML: Working to Reform Marijuana Laws
Site reviewed and recommended by Shirron L. Hill, Criminology, UWP
Link added December 4, 1999.

On December 3, Shirron wrote: In accordance with one of the evaluation guides on dearhabermas, there is expertise from the contributors: attorneys (defense), professors (one from Harvard), Ph.D. (chemistry), M.D., etc.  Site was last updated today, Dec. 3rd. There are numerous links within the site- relevant to the subject. The language and style are appropriate for the intended audience.  Also, the site is easy to navigate.  The only thing is that there is an obvious bias because they are advocates for the legalization of marijuana (like we talked about in class today).  One must wonder if the people who visit the site are also mostly advocates.  If that is the case, then the survey results would be a distortion from the rest of society.  I think the site is interesting for the purpose of gaining insight on the issue.

Debriefing Form

Form based on Howard Richards' Peacemaking Methods Course. There are suggestions to spark your ideas, and a form to guide you. If you are interested in this process you might want to carry on your project for an A or a B in the course. This would be a good project for those of you still struggling with that. Form also linked on all class pages.
