Latest update: October 5, 2000
The crystallization of a technical and editorial assistance board for Dear Habermas has been a long time in coming. We are pleased to set up the first formal organizational unit this Fall.
- Virtual: Because we will function primarily over the Internet. Few formal meetings, but face-to-face gatherings in jeanne's office and for training sessions.
- Preliminary Training: Online I will set out the different tasks available and the skills involved in completing them. I will try to get some of this up this weekend. October 5, jeanne
- Site Training: Face-to-Face There is a computer training room available for this. I have asked for it, and will set times as you tell me which times will work for you.
- Credit for the Research Work on the board will count:
- As a project within a class. In this case, please be sure that the tasks you choose can be conceptually linked to the class in which you want credit.
- As individual study. It is too late this semester to add an individual study course, but I will be happy to give you credit next semester for work completed.
- As research team participation for presentation of professional papers.
- As research team participation in one of our workshops and/or town forums on love, peace, relationships, and justice.
- Reports of Learning (ROLS) Provide Updating on Projects Periodic reports of what research and tech assistants are learning will give you ideas on how the various projects are structured.
