What if I don't have a book?

That's a sticky wicket. The university expects you to have a book. You need the experience of reading. So I would suggest that you use supplementary texts available in our university library. I would also remind you that there are online summaries and teaching essays that will help you. You can locate concepts important to the course in those files, and then look them up in library books.
