This delightful Broadway play , Hairspray, opened in August in New York. I wish I could send you all to see it. The reviews suggest that it's light and fun. At least you can look at the reviews. Millie Coulter is doing her thesis on the Fat Body Image and the importance of recognizing that harm if we are to regain our sanity with "fat." This offers an excellent example of the simple importance of exclusion, regardless of the grounds on which one is excluded, and the danger of embeddedness of status characteristics that can at any time pop up as exclusion factors.
