Subject: Giddens on Simmel

I just need a quick advice if there is someone on the list being an expert on Giddens: Does Giddens anywhere (except for a very brief mentioning in a foot-note in New Rules of Sociological Method) write about or discuss Simmels general theory (especially the essays from Soziologie - for instance How is Society Possible and The problem of Sociology) and if so where?
