Hello Jeanne, I would just like to comment on Patrina Smith's drawings. I think they are beautiful. I can relate to Can I Cry? I have known Patrina for quite some time now, and she is very sweet. However, there was something about her drawings that really touched me. Sometimes we go through things and we do not know whether to express them verbally or write them down on paper. I think the way Patrina expressed herself on paper was wonderful. I wish I had it in me to express myself on paper, but most of the time I express myself, whether it is good or bad, physically. At this point I do not know which one is bad or good, or does it really matter as long as I express my feelings.

Tranell, I don't think it matters which form of expression you use, as long as you express your feelings. Jumping for joy is as valid as painting a joyous picture or singing Allelujah. That's why we have incorporated so many different expressive techniques into the teaching format.

Keeping a handmade book, with moments you'd like to remember, is a great way to express your feelings and have a reminder of those good moments for later. I'm glad you were touched by Patrina's paintings. Me, too.

love and peace, jeanne
