Index of Topics on Site Internet Speak

Note that Internet Speak is somewhat light-hearted and may help explain why "newbies", those new to the Internet discussion groups, are somewhat taken aback by the abrupt responses and fun-making of those who have used this means of communications for ages. Suan and I learned some of this from Mac a few years ago. It will take a little getting used to, but can open up a whole new world of discourse for you.

From Spirithart on transform_dom:

  • ROFL means “Rolling on the floor laughing”

  • LMAO means “Laughing my ass off”

  • IMHO (In my humble opinion)

  • GMTA (great minds think alike)

  • ROFLMAO (Rolling on the floor laughing my ass off)

  • ROFLMAOWTIME (Rolling on the floor laughing my ass off with tears in my eyes).

  • LOL (Laughing Out Loud)

  • This is a smile J

  • This is sticking your tongue out at someone :P

  • This is a big smile :D

  • This is a tall drink \_/

  • This is a cinnamon roll @@

Thanks, Spirithart.
