Ipse Dixit: Just Because He Says So
Didn't We Get into Trouble with That One on Iraq??

This morning I read Bob Herbert's Op-Ed column in the New York Times, and I couldn't get it out of my mind. Yes, the President is borrowing the money from China. He's also borrowing the money from Asia to give the millionaires the tax break he promised. Why should he care? Just because our kids will have to pay those billions back, and all the billions he borrowed for the Iraqi War [mistake]? Sure, he's gonna help the poor. Like Bob Herbert said, believe it if you want to. Just because he says so.
