Protection and the Church
I was trying to express the conflict of feelings: the horror at the harm done, with the evil personified, and the Priest who is genderless, as well as I could manage, and the mother with the child. The band of angels or putti together with the mother and the Priest or Priestess, as the case may be, represent a line of defense against evil. And that adolescent child over on the left, I don't know, perhaps the one corrupted, harmed, but still fighting the darkness. He has a club in his left hand. Now, you work with it. These are collaborative paintings. love and peace, jeanne

- The tufted titmouse I've been calling King Tut "little titmouse," so I thought I should know more about the titmouse. He is grey, like Tut, but Tut doesn't exactly have a tuft, and, well, he isn't exactly a bird. But he does make a little yipping sound that reminded me of a baby bird. jeanne Link added April 29, 2002. Link added April 29, 2002.
What people are saying about Dear Habermas
On Monday, April 29, 2002, Mac (Rebecca McLaughlin, UWP) wrote:
Neat Jeanne....thanks! Neater yet, is the letter I received from Jolene. I'm happy that she replied. Jolene's reply could have been much different, but instead, it was kind and welcoming. I'm so glad that she and her son, unlike some, has had such a positive experience to reflect on, during a time of persecution of her faith.Thank you for creating a forum that allowed this exchange. What a rare opportunity you present! It's no wonder I continue, despite having graduated. :)
Love and peace,
Thanks, Mac. That's why we have Dear Habermas; we all need it. -mac
