i had originally asked her how mom and dad were doing and worried that they might have flashbacks to pearl harbor, etc. i'll let you know what karen says.

Karen said yes. But in the hundreds of e-mail pouring in, I have no subject listings. Susan, everything says, Re: thank you. Could you give me at least the dates on which these e-mails were sent. I'm swamped. And please tell UWP students they need to check with you that this can go up, and then e-mail what they've written directly to me, preferably with a suggestive subject, so I can tell at a glance what it's about.
