This was in response to Susan's earlier message to jeanne:

i read kerry's letter to orlando and his response to her. that's really something. i haven't had a chance to contact orlando yet. (we serve on an ASC committee together and began accomplishing much for the ASC's minority fellowship program, last year. our paths have crossed at ASA meetings, too).

i was initially struck by his response of peace and not more violence which fits nicely with fellman's book. and his letter to kerry was so neat to read and that he continues to stress peace.

i, myself, was "waiting" for a little more time to pass before sending orlando my thoughts. it was so neat to see his response to kerry. please thank kerry for me. that was so neat!
