Peace, That Is

My first response was "Duh? It's like obscenity!" And how like obscenity it is! (Cite section from Prostitution book.) Gordon Fellman wrote recently how strange it is how few of our courses are on love and peace. (Cite him. and send him the note.) Peace is like the other side of the obscenity coin. We can't define it, but we're sure we'll know it when we see it! Or will we?

Schadenfreude. I can laugh at him. The dope doesn't know what peace looks like. But (Schadenfreude) questions that line when laughter turns to cruelty. And certainly when it springs of denial. I would never be so obtuse. Or candid? Or honest with myself? OK, so how will you know it when you find it?

It will be an epiphany. Great. What's an epiphany feel like or look like?
