- Definitions of circumstantial evidence.
- Notes on and analysis of readings.
- Read the brief newspaper account of the trial to which a backup link is given above. (The article actually appeared on August 1, so for teaching purposes it is reproduced here.) Make a brief note of the facts to describe the social context in the courtroom. For example, The story is about:
- A 22-year-old daughter who hasn't seen her father in seventeen years. - Likely to produce tension. For father? For daughter?
