Conceptual linking: When reviewing hardcopy and online materials on the school shootings for the moot court class, keep in mind arguments of justice. Do we have a moral obligation to fairness, as John Rawls suggests? Or should we empower the most talented to go as far as they can in the interests of the greater good, as Nozick suggests? With the school shootings, should most of our efforts go to launching the kids that can make it? Or should we focus some of our resources on kids in difficulty?
