SECTION I: THE KNOWLEDGE BASE NEEDED FOR ARGUMENT

The materials provided on this site are adequate for you to argue in moot court rounds. They will explain the concepts to you and give you appropriate sources that you can cite. Having read and discussed these concepts, you will find that you can read any cases you wish to consult far more easily.

On the other hand, the principle of this moot court is one of undergraduate liberal arts education and cooperative learning. That means that even though you read more, if you wish to introduce new or different concepts you need to do so through your teacher. Our students are not competing with one another. They are working together as a legal team to produce the best oral arguments possible on the case at bar.

The best litigation teams work together. Share your work and inspire one another. Go beyond these materials with our blessings to learn, not to outsmart or outshine someone else. The reputation of this thirteen-year funded program relies on the fact that every student who completes this class is capable of outstanding legal advocacy.
