Obviously, this is just the tip of the iceberg. I haven't even been able to get through submissions yet. But these were clear winners and I want to announce them now! jeanne, Saturday morning, December 15, 2001. Congratulations, kids. I'm proud of you!

I laughed so much I cried! It reminds me of a story by Colette in French. Remind me to tell you about it one day. jeanne
Award for The Best Novel Writing Exchange in Fall 2001:
Lashana Hill, Keyana Woolen, and Angel Holliday for??????Title?????? For the novel they wrote together and had published at Kinko's as Christmas gifts for each other! No, they didn't make a copy for me, but they promise now they will.
I know, I know. I told you not to e-mail me all your novel files. But, for goodness' sakes, when you finish a novel and print it up, tell the rest of us. I'll try to get them to let us publish it on Dear Habermas. the only reason I know about it is that they came to talk to me on Thursday, December 13, and told me how exciting the November Writing Project was! TALK TO ME! Obviously, I need it. jeanne
Award for The Best Collection of Letters to My Children in Fall 2001:
Sonja Johnson-Lewis for Letters to My ChildrenSonja took a writing course in conjunction with my classes this Fall and chose to work on a collection of letters to her children in conjunction with the November Writing Project. Several of you started out on this, but Sonja's was the only one I know was completed. Again, I know, I told you not to send all that writing to me. We'll have to work that conundrum out. jeanne
More awards up soon.
