A Palestinian at Yad Vashem by Ghassan Abdallah, "a program analyst and an activist. 1 The trips took place in 1999 and 2000." The Jerusalem Quarterly File. Link to Current Issue in the left-most frame, then link to A Palestinian at Yad Vashem. Backup.
The story tells of the reaction of this Palestinian activist to his visit to the the Holocaust Museum, Yad Vashem. The Jerusalem Quarterly and the Journal of Palestine Studies present the issues from the Palestinian perspective. He admires the memorial and thinks that Palestinians should learn from the Israelis ways to memorialize their dead. But he sees the whole museum as a metaphor for what has happened to the Palestinians.
