It all comes back to knowingness. (Jonathan Lear)

"I think that's really wrong; but I won't say anything; they must be right (dominant discourse). After all, they KNOW.

 

"Torture is wrong, but I know thery're terrorists."

 

"I know I can drive; I only had a few drinks."

 

"I know these students aren't serious."

 

"I know the sun will shine no matter how much coal and oil we burn. Our scientists will fix it."
