Three Ravens from the Sky

From the sky
Three ravens came
No one saw them arrive
They had no name

I heard their cries
Through the windows
I saw their eyes
Through the halls

When they tore away some flesh
There was no pain, too fast
I wish they had let them go home
The flesh will never grow back

Two women dropped on their knees
And emitted a gray darkness
One man wept tears of blood
And sat down on the hellish fire in the stillness

Joy comes in a flash but sorrow is eternal
Death was hidden, no footsteps
Time is long but life is short
Death reaped its crop

In the flames
The dead picked up their own ashes
In the tears
The living became devilish

Come back, hold me in your arms
Softly, kindly but strongly
Come here, share your grief with me
To put out my fire immediately

No one could catch the three ravens
They vanished into the night
Pray and burn a candle
For the souls which vanished into the light
