On Monday, July 16, 2001, Rahmat Tavakol wrote to tell us of Professor Nasr's remarks on Religion and Civilisational Dialogue at the conference on religion and dialogue among civilisations. Since Rahmat was kind enough to provide the URL, I thought you might like to jump ahead and look at the material. I won't get up notes for several days yet. I hope that Rahmat will share his comments also.

My lecture notes will appear either in this file or in journal notes soon. I had only a few minutes to look at theIslam 21 Site, but it looks like it should be an important resource for us. jeanne
