Heard about (KPFK) new magazine found on http://poormagazine.org. Editors are Lisa Gray-Garcia and her mother. It is part of Poor News Network(PNN). Garcia and her mother were part of the cycle of poverty. Her mother went to college and earned her masters degree; got a good job; however mother became disabled, and they both ended up on the street. they are also artists, and from California. Garcia said they sold their artwork at Venice Beach, and when they were chased away, went to Bay Area where, as she claims, selling on the street is legal. Garcia says there are more people on the streets in her position than we would like to believe. She states that we have a strong tendency to believe that this only happens in third world countries.love and peace, Pat
