• April 30, 1999

  • Added explanation of citizen's arrest in response to request to site. Linked under What's New, under Law Links, and in Site Index.

• April 29, 1999

  • Added now.htm for the poems on the cracking of the now. These came up through discussions in the criminal justice classes and with our social welfare students of the many issues now impinging of the reality of our social world. Linked temporarily through the main image on site, and through What's New. We will create new navigation links so topic can grow into process text. Permission for use of painting and poems given in file pntfish.htm. Link through author's names under poem titles.

• April 20, 1999

  • Added an art site for teachers and students that Shewood Dowling brought to our attention. Looks great. Link through What's New until we get back from Fort Worth next Monday.

  • Put up the notes for the Fort Worth papers this week. So much has happened with this site since last November, we had lots to add. We promise to put up more complete papers upon our return.

  • Yesterday, fixed the link to Chadwick's drug links. Hope I got all sites working. We were having some server trouble. And one image, Appel's revolving Kandinsky-influenced Figurine, is refusing to come up on the habermas.org site. I'll have to try to figure it out when I get back.

  • Other files with new material: statacc.htm and jjacc.htm with new exercises. More up soon. jeanne

• Monday, April 5, 1999

  • Transferred e-mail goof to new file, smile.htm, for recording funny things we see on the Web.

  • Created new virus.htm file for information on viruses. But I think the Melissa link is dead now that it's under control, anyway. This should really be developed but it's on hold for now. No time.

  • Added Kosovo links to What's New, so that those of you in social welfare can find agencies that have up to date info and info on helping. Needs to be added to social work links. Nag me. This does not include any political perspective. Just "helping." If any of you have good sites on the multiple political concerns I should appreciate your e-mailing those links to me.
