Statistics Exercise 12: Interpreting Published Data

The following article will be needed for this exercise: CURRENT INVESTMENTS IN INNOVATION IN THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SECTOR: STATISTICAL BACKGROUND, April 1999. The article is on the Congressional Budget Office Site. Here is an opportunity to see the extent to which sociological skills are needed in many fields, even budget offices. They just won't often ask for sociologists. You'll have to initiate them into the importance of your many talents.

Answer the following questions, using the information in the article. Page numbers refer to the hardcopy print of the Web article, which is 28 pages long. You may not need the whole 28 pages.
