"Dialectical materialism incorporates elements from classical philosophers such as Plato and Hegel. These philosophers developed the concept of the dialectic as a way of thinking in which knowledge advances as a consequence of a dialogue between two thinkers. One thinker advances a thesis, the second responds with an antithesis, and out of the interaction a new idea, the synthesis emerges.
