This series of files is designed to give you some samples of how a thesis project or an advanced term paper might be done. In the Fall 2001 semester, we're going to focus on projects envisioned by Patricia Acone, Berthena Kemp, Jolie Wimberly, Darby Southgate, Marlene Boykin's postgraduate work, and Kyra Amberik's resumption of her graduate project. Not all these projects will result in theses. They are all in various stages of development and all are related to our work on Dear Habermas. Some will culminate in innovations in Dear Habermas; some will provide the groundwork for future projects. We hope to complete this guide by December 2001, hopefully completing at the same time both Patricia Acone's and Berthena Kemp's Thesis Projects.

Pat's project is near completion. She has worked on it for years, and the only reason it isn't completed is that she could never settle down to write it. Now that she's retired, she has this semester to put it all together. Of course, a minor detail like the war has slowed us all down. But we figure seven weeks should be enough to pull it together.
