Link provided by Michelle Vaccaro, UWP, Fall 1999.
Michelle says: "I found this address in the paper earlier this week under the heading
"Are you on the right career path?" I looked at it and found it
interesting.
It has many options to offer, such as: business directory, finding a job, message boards, finding child or elder care,
salary comparisons, women managers, office politics, gender equity, career transitions,
profiles of professions, career coaching, what to do when the interview is over, salary negotiation,
career builder handbooks, chat rooms on career issues, discussing career topics with experts,
career assessment, personal search agency, and posting jobs.

site is http://www.womenconnect.com/ LINK TO CAREER.

Says Shana, "I especially like the journal annotation site. It is from a prestigious
University with and edu address. It was last updated on 11/16/99
and is copyrighted by the Board of Regents UWSystem 1998. . . .
[and] has a lot of pertinent info for teachers.
I have actually found it three times now so it is easy to access
and use once there. Parts at least are a cooperative site
with Kansas State U Libraries, which I found interesting."
Form based on Howard Richards' Peacemaking Methods Course. There are suggestions to spark your ideas, and a form to guide you. If you are interested in this process you might want to carry on your project for an A or a B in the course. This would be a good project for those of you still struggling with that. Form also linked on all class pages.
