Faculty on the Site.
This site is maintained interactively with the academic community it serves. Students and others who use the site share in that maintenance by sharing editing responsibility with the site faculty.
One of the most important tasks is that of developing process texts. Process texts are texts that are created over time by the interactive dialog that student, faculty, and others carry on in the discussion of formal texts. On the Dear Habermas site we publish these texts as they evolve, offering all the opportunity to participate in their development. Text editing in this section requires careful reading, the ability to spot idea leaps, the ability to work with others in helping to clarify and develop their ideas. These texts become a part of the intertextual readings that nurture our site discussions.
Without the effort of all those involved in this development of process texts Dear Habermas could not maintain the standards of publication we set for it. We recognize this effort by including all editors on our staff index with links that will take you to the page or pages for which each has taken some of the responsibility.
