The best part about the learning teaching module is that I learned a great deal from the class, considering I got to chose what I wwanted to research. THis made all my learning interesting. The worst part is that this class was more work than any of my others. My advice for other students is that they must be highly motivated to learn on their own, or they will not do well in this class.

I would say the most valuable aspect of the course was as far as learning would be the way students need to become responsible for their own grade. I mean you give them the option of doing what they please to get their grade, and I think that gives students some responsibility in making it happen. A positive about the teaching learning model is that it makes students feel like they are never going to be wrong so it gives them the confidence to want to try. A negative about the model would be that some students tend to slack off since they know what they are doing they feel they don't need to attend class. My advice to the Fall 2003 students would to be to REALLY PAY ATTENTION to the theories. Some are very hard to learn, at least they were for me, so if you get a handle on them it makes the questions easier to do. That is all I have to say!
