On Sunday, October 29, 2000, Valencia Ross wrote:
"I wanted to share my first entry in my vocabulary list. The word is malapropism, which means a ludicrous or humorous misuse of a word. I stumbled across this word while reading an article about Bush and Gore in the Times Magazine. I had a friend in high [school] that would always use malapropisms; however, I do not think he was using them intentionally."
