GENERAL
INFORMATION
Except as provided otherwise herein, the provisions of the current edition of the State of California Vehicle Code (CVC) are adopted as university policy. A reference copy of the CVC is available in the Library of California State University, Dominguez Hills and at all public libraries.
Traffic regulations of the University and the State of California will be enforced at all times.
Your special attention is directed to Section 21113a CVC which provides for the establishment and enforcement of all vehicle (including bicycle) traffic, pedestrian traffic and parking regulations upon the grounds of the California State Universities.
Permission to stop, park or leave a vehicle on campus property may be granted to people who have paid a parking fee. The fee shall be in accordance with the schedules of fees approved by the Board of Trustees, Chancellor's Office, and the director of General Services. Parking permits must be displayed in an approved location on the vehicle in plain view. In addition, the vehicle must be parked in a lawful manner in an authorized parking facility/lot. (CCR Title V).
Parking will only be permitted in areas designated as "parking lots." The University reserves the right to designate parking areas during special events, as it deems necessary.
