University Parking Enforcement

***Parking Fee Increase effective July 1, 2008***

The University Parking Department is responsible for parking enforcement on campus property. We also assist in unlocking vehicles if you have locked yourself out AND you are parked on campus. We are unable to provide this service if you are parked out on the street. We are also unable to provides jumpstarts, either on campus or off.

The University Parking Department administers all requests for Special Event Parking. Any requests must be made in writing 72 hours prior to the event.

If you would like to provide a parking pass for a guest please contact our office and we can discuss the details.

The University Parking Department is located in the Small College Complex, 200. The hours are Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm.  You can call the office at 310-243-3725. Our FAX machine number is 310-217-6802. If you have a question regarding a parking citation please call 888-267-6509.

If you would like to appeal a parking citation you will need to fill out an Administrative Review Form. These forms are available at our office or after hours at the University Police Department in Welch Hall B100.

Parking fee increase:

Chancellor's Office in July 2007.  Student parking fees are going to go up again in July based on a proposal submitted to CFAC when Herb Carter was the Acting President.  However, only the MPP parking fee will meet the criteria specified below.  When the chancellor's Office distributes 2008/09 Technical Letter authorizing the increase in bargaining units, we will be able to comply at that time unless the campus decides to take action sooner.  As a reminder our Parking Fees for 2008/09 are as follows:

Effective July 1, 2008

Faculty         $15.09 per month

Units 1,4,6,8  $14.00 per month

CSUEU          $15.00 per month

MPP              $20.00 per month

Special "100"  $50.00 per month

Students       $90.00 per semester

Parking Lot permit machines    $4.00 per day
