9-1-1

Dial 9-1-1 for Emergencies ONLY
An emergency is any life threatening situation (persons with weapons, fights, crime in progress), any serious medical problem, any type of fire or any crime "in progress" (suspect is still at location) whether life threatening or not.

Crime Prevention

Going to college is all about learning and developing your education. While you are there, take some time to educate yourself about campus crime and how to prevent it.

Drug Free Campus

California State University Dominguez Hills provides the following information in response to the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act of 1989.

Lost and Found

The University Police Department is the official campus location for receiving and storage of lost and found property.  All found items are logged and stored at the University Police Department for 90 days.  After 90 days the items are either given away to a charity or sold at auction.

Escorts

The University Police offers escort service to and from anywhere ON CAMPUS 24 hours a day.  This service is available to all students, staff, faculty and visitors.  You may either, walk into the police station (Welch Hall B100), call the University Police Station (310) 243-3639 or use one of the emergency call boxes located throughout the campus to request an escort.

Vehicle Lockouts

The University Police Department may be able to assist you by calling your emergency road service provider.  If you do not have an emergency road service provider the University Police may be able to gain entry into your car provided the car is parked on the campus and you are the registered owner.

Anonymous Tip Hotline

The Anonymous Crime Tip Hotline is not an emergency telephone line. If you have information regarding any crime or incident that occurred on the campus you may call this hotline and leave a detailed message. Please do not call this number for crimes in progress.
