CSUDH Extended Education Receives Award from South Bay Workforce Investment Board
Nov. 8, Carson, Calif. – California State University, Dominguez Hills’ College of Extended and International Education received an Outstanding Achievement Award from the South Bay Workforce Investment Board for achieving a placement rate of 90%-100% in the Project Management and Pharmacy Technician Programs for the 2009/2010 program year. The award was announced at a breakfast honoring participants, employers and educational providers in the South Bay of Los Angeles.
The Pharmacy Technician certificate program is a 50-hour course that prepares students to work in the pharmacy field and to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board’s Exam. The Project Management Certificate program is designed to help students obtain the management skills required to bring projects in on time and within budget. CSUDH’s College of Extended and International Education is an official Global Registered Education Provider by the Project Management Institute.
