The Program
This eight course certificate program will teach and prepare
you to become a successful insurance agent and a small business
owner. Give yourself the opportunity to earn six figures without
having to study 6-8 years in order to earn a degree. Start
off part-time and watch as this second source of income grows
into a full time personal business.
In 2006, the top 2,500 Farmer’s Agents earned an average
of $500,000 with our top 500 earning well over $1,000,000.
Realistically, a new manager can earn between $45,000 and
$75,000 and here’s why:

The Insurance Essentials workshop is designed to introduce
students to the basic concepts of Insurance. The Insurance
Essentials workshop will provide a solid foundation on which
to build your career in insurance. The courses cover insurance
principles, practices, and policies in depth. Completing this
program can enhance future career opportunities for those
individuals interested in the field of insurance.
Property & Casualty Insurance

The Property & Casualty workshop will give you more knowledge
about personal lines insurance & all that goes with it.
You will gain a thorough understanding of the personal insurance
business, including underwriting, a claims process, insurance
contracts, property loss exposures and policy provisions,
liability loss exposures and policy provisions.
Life & Health Insurance

This workshop will offer a broad overview of Life & Health
insurance. The workshop will explain how life & health
insurance products fit into our day to day lives. The history
of life & health insurance & how it affects us today,
as well as the importance of life & health insurance to
a person’s own family.
Reserve Builder

The Reserve Builder is designed to walk prospective students
through the process of becoming an insurance agent. Students
will learn the proper way to open up their business as well
as the proper sales systems. Agency Efficiency will also be
one of the main topics discussed & will show students
the most effective way to run a small business. Finally students
will learn the personal side of being an agent, such as commissions,
record books, & how to utilize your natural market.
