An exhibition featuring sixty-five works of art in varied
media by twelve Art Department faculty.

Obsessive Surfaces: New Work by California
Painters
November 12 – December 10, 2008 – University
Art Gallery, LaCorte Hall, first floor
Organized by guest curator Bridget Bojorquez, this exhibition
will explore new paintings by Darren Hostetter, Carlton Christy,
and John Koller. Each artist uses surface imagery in a unique
way ranging from the dense serpentine lines of Carlton Christy’s
large scale monochromatic drawings to the glittering, jewel-like
surfaces of John Koller’s paintings.
