MSN Role Emphasis Options

Students complete 17 units of core courses before beginning the role emphasis which includes 19-23 units of specialty theory and role performance courses.

The MSN curriculum allows the student to request role emphasis in one of the following:

• Nurse Educator
• Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in Parent-Child Nursing
• Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in Gerontology Nursing

Through a personalized Program of Study, the MSN curriculum is individualized and reflective of the student's learning needs and professional goals.
