Photoshop Classes

All Photoshop classes are offered at California State University, Dominguez Hills in Carson. Photoshop classes are convenient for people living and working in or near Los Angeles, Torrance, Long Beach, Carson, Compton, El Segundo, Palos Verdes, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, San Pedro, Hawthorne, Gardena, Lakewood, Paramount, Bellflower, Downey, Inglewood and other parts of the South Bay and Southern California.

Introduction to Photoshop
Learn how to use this amazing program like a pro! Learn essential Photoshop tools, menus, palattes, layers, typography, file formats, color, image enhancement and basic retouching techniques, including many great Photoshop secrets!

Advanced Photoshop
Learn advanced image composite, enhancement and retouching techniques. Through hands-on computer workshop sessions students will explore more Photoshop pro secrets and special effects that are used in merging type and picture elements, making photo montages, designing websites, enhancing personal photos, and retouching and restoring old family photos.

Program Instructor
Michael Pliskin is a freelance photographer and designer and a former staff technical advisor for Nikon, Inc. His photography appears regularly in International publications and on music CDs and DVD packages. A Photoshop user for 20 years, he has taught Photoshop techniques to professionals at computer conferences and in corporations and is a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP).
