Instructions
for Posting Jobs on MonsterTRAK.com
|

| Step1: | ||
| The Financial Aid Office will create your employer account and password. Your account number is your phone number and your password is your CMS People Soft payroll number. | ||
| Note: If your department did not post a job listing for 2007-2008, please note the Financial Aid Office will need to create your employer account and password for MonsterTRAK.com. Please contact Ann Overton via email (aoverton@csudh.edu) or phone at x3539. Once you have received confirmation of your account number and password from Ms. Overton, please follow the steps below to post a job on MonsterTRAK.com. | ||

Login to www.MonsterTRAK.monster.com/se/employers.html | |
|

|
Enter your phone number, password (is your CMS People Soft payroll number), and school. Then click the Employer Login button. | |

The JOBS LISTING MENU will appear. You will have six (6) choices on this screen. | |
|
>
|
To create a new job, use the drop down menu to select Work Study or Student Assistant then select CREATE. | |
|
>
If you want to "edit" a job listing, select the job
by clicking in the circle and then select EDIT. |

| > If you want to activate a listing that has been archived, click DUPLICATE. (This would be a listing from the past that you need to re-post so that you do not have to "re-type" the description. | ||
| > If you want to change the job type, under CHANGE , use the drop down menu to select the type then select CHANGE. | ||
| > If you want to remove a job listing, select DELETE. | ||
| After selecting CREATE, your employer information record will appear on the next screen. |

| Follow directions to fill in the blanks that describe your type of opening. If you can accept either student assistant or work-study students, indicate this in the job title or job description. | ![]() |
| Be prepared to enter the following information: | |

| Employer information (department >>> information) | |
| Position description (qualifications, >>> duties, responsibilities) | |
| Date the listing expires. Please do not list your position for more than 30 days from the date of posting. >>> | |
| Step3: | |
| After you enter the job posting information you will be able to preview the listing just as the students will see it. At this point it is very easy to print a copy to proofread and then edit the posting if necessary. | ![]() |
| When you are satisfied with the posting information click SUBMIT. A job ID number will be displayed. Keep this number for future reference. Jobs will go live within 48 hours of posting. | ![]() |
| Step4: | |
| Print a copy of the job listing and attach it to a blank "Position Request and/or Reclassification" form (FA 501). Please have the immediate supervisor, Dean, Busines Manager, Agency Director, or Fiscal Agent sign and date the FA 501 form. Submit both documents to the Financial Aid Office (WH B-260). | |
| Step 5: | |
| Exit as you normally exit the Internet by selecting the "file" menu on the top left and then selecting exit. If you have questions regarding the job posting or using MonsterTRAK.com please call Ann Overton at x3539. | |
| Reactivate a previous job: | |
| In order to reactivate a previous job announcement follow the instructions for posting job listings: | |
| * Once your job information is available click on view/edit | |
| * Review job announcement, scroll down to change date when to apply | |
| * Post job listing on | |
| * Close Archive listing on | |
| * Select Preview | |
| * Select Submit | |
| The job number will remain the same.... | |
| This step is to be used only if hiring under the same job description. | |
