General Characteristics of Japan's Physical Resources

Japan is surrounded by sea. This sea used to be a source of protection for Japan or the island of Nippon. Some physical resources of Japan are mountains, a vast area of marine life, rich soil, as well as four distinct seasons of which the Japanese are very proud.

Conclusions on Whether Japan Is Primarily a Resource Rich or Resource Poor Country

Japan is a resource rich country, however because of the dense population, many of it's resources are being used up. To help fix this problem, Japan has experimented with different types of energy such as hydrolic energy. They also import certain resources and products. Due to the fact Japan has tried to resolve their resources problem, they can be said to be in the Information Age.
