Information Age Jobs: in higher paying skilled high technology and professional jobs and lower paying, unsiklled service sector jobs, creating danger of a two-tiered economy and decreased middle clss (the traditional cornerstone of a democracy); more white collar jobs; also multiple jobs/careers in a lifetime
Information/Data on Malaysia Job Distribution: the distribution of jobs in malaysia is higher in the industrial age than it is in agricultural (30%). They have continuing growth in their manufacturing and expected to continue to grow. Their high technology is also growing faster each year. Their service seector is expected to be sustained at 9%. The number of jobs created expanded by 3% in 1994, and expected to increase 2.9%. The unemployment rate is declining (2.9%), and the economy is virtually at full employment
