General Characteristics of Agricultural, Industrial, and Information Age Management Styles: The government is the dominant force in the devlopment and management of the economy, bureaus and departments have proliferated at all adminstrative levels, There are fifteen committee such as the agricultural and state planing committees one bureau, and twenty departments under the supervision of the State Administration Council; of these, twelve committees, one bureau, and sist departments are involved in economic management. In the early 1990s, serveral vice premiers of the State Administration Council Supervised economic affairs. Organization undergo frequent reorganization. Many of these agencies have their won separate branches at lower levels of government while others maintain control over subordinat sections in provincia and county adminsitrative agencies

  Rigid social class divisions meant management by dominant social class.

  Hierarchical management styles models is industrialized western countries

• Information Age Management Styles:

  Network-based, participatory management, consenuse /team building; qualit circles and total quality management; Japanes management models and elimination of some middle management positions.

Conclusions: North Korea is mainly Industrial, the government participates several sector of they economy, particularyly mining, industries requiring heavy capital investment, utilities, and public services. As with other key aspect on korea management, the government is closely involved in the moblilization of labor union
