General Characteristics of North Korea Physical Resources Fishing, Mining and Forestry

Conclusions: North Korea Resources is Rich and abundant supply of trainable labor. Its mineral resources are coal, lead, tungsten, zinc, graphite, magnesite, iron, ore, coppor, gold, pyrites and salt. Agriculture, including fishing and forestry which accounted for almost 50 percent of GNP, and about 8 percent, of which rice, barley, vegetables, fish, and timber were the major products.
