Agricultural Age Technology: Hand made tools mainly used in agriculture, and limited home production.

Industrial Age Technology: Mass production of tools and equipment. Interchangeable parts, invention of the gun.

Information Age Technology: High tech production where brain power and computers are the main driving force.
Information/Data on Russian Technologies
Russia is lacking behind the West in many areas of technology. This is a remnant of the old Soviet system. They are lacking state of the art equipment in manufacturing, agriculture, computers, mining, and service sectors. The key to the future of Russia in technology will be the consumer application of military technology.

Russia is in the industrial age in the area of technology. They lack state of the art technology in many areas.
