Information Age Cultural Characteristics: Globalization of cultures(organized around an ever increasingly interpendent world), creating surface level global unity along deeper level local diversity of the world's cultures. Increased danger of localized cultural conflicts in the post Cold War era--as people seek new identities without sufficient recognition of global interpendence needs and dangers of war in a technological age. New non-locialized virtual communities also emerging in cyberspace.
Information/Data on Russian Cultural Characteristics
Russian culture is a very rich and diverse culture. It is based on many different ethnic groups from the former Soviet Union. It is a culture that was extremely sheltered until the fall of the Soviet Union. Russian culture is very state centered.
