CSUDH Parking for Home Depot Events

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. How do I enter the campus? 

You should enter the campus at the entrance nearest the designated parking area when doing campus business and to receive free parking only for the June 1st event. Do I pay for parking when I attend Home Depot Center events, such as a track meet, soccer game or  concerts, etc.? Yes, after the June 1, 2003 track meet, and you come to campus for a Home Depot event, for which admission is charged, you will be required to pay the event parking fee. The parking fee may vary according to the event.  

Q: Will my CSUDH parking sticker/permit be sufficient when I come to campus to attend classes, conduct University business or attend campus related events during a Home Depot event?

A: Yes, your CSUDH parking sticker will allow you access to designated parking areas. Also, your CSUDH Identification Card and a daily parking pass will provide access to the parking areas designated for our faculty, students, and staff.

Q: Where can I find out information about CSUDH events?

A: The CSUDH website is an excellent source of information. Please refer to: www.csudh.edu for the most up to date information regarding the academic calendar, current events, and a link to the "CSUDH Parking for Home Depot Events."

Q: Where can I learn about the Home Depot events?

A: The website for a list of confirmed events and ticket sales can be found at www.homedepotcenter.com

Q: Can I receive CSUDH designated parking for all future Home Depot events?

A: This is the first year of operations and each event will be reviewed on an individual basis until benchmarks for our parking lots can be established. However, the campus will be notified in advance of each event about designated parking arrangements for our faculty, students, and staff.
