The Master of Science in Health Sciences, Professional Studies Option is designed for health professionals who wish to continue in their careers as practitioners and at the same time take advantage of opportunities to expand in their role in the areas of management, education or research.
Students entering the program enroll in a series of common core courses then specialize by selecting the management, education or research track. As part of the program, students enroll in a practicum course that provides hands-on experience in their area of specialization.
In addition to meeting the general admission requirements for the Master of Science in Health Sciences program, a student applying to the Professional Studies option must have or be eligible for a U.S. recognized credential and/or license in one of the health professions.
