Susan Nakaoka, Director of Field Education received her Master of Arts in Asian American Studies and Master of Social Welfare in a dual degree program at the University of California at Los Angeles. Professor Nakaoka has over 15 years of experience in providing social services to low-income housing residents in the Los Angeles area and nationally. 

Most recently, she was the Project Director of a Mental Health training program at the University of Hawai`i School of Social Work.
